IFCH is Officially a Level III Trauma Center
Congratulations are in order for our next-door neighbor – Idaho Falls Community Hospital is officially a Level III Trauma Center.
The designation from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare means Idaho Falls Community Hospital has proven its ability to provide our community with prompt, lifesaving care. As a result, IFCH can treat patients experiencing more serious emergencies.
The new trauma designation requires Idaho Falls Community Hospital to always have emergency physicians at the hospital to care for the community. And surgeons and anesthesiologists must always be available to respond to emergencies.
If you have patients who need emergency care, please make sure they know they can receive high-quality, compassionate care at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
If you’ve been to the Cornerstone Café recently you’ve probably noticed that our baking
team has been showing off their talents and skills and delighting us all with a variety of
tasty treats. Come see what Melissa, Lis and Merelou has baked up for us… new items
added daily… and for those looking for gluten-free options, that No Sugar Added
Cheesecake has a nut-based crust!
Upcoming Changes in Cafe' Pricing
It has been two years now since the COVID-19 invasion on our community and facility. We have maintained our pre-COVID prices, thinking that the wild price increases and difficult product availability would return to normal at some point—but two years in, we are still finding it difficult to locate product, and as you’ve noticed in the grocery stores, prices have not come back down, and in fact, continue to rise. MANY of the items on our current café menu are being sold at prices that do not even cover the cost of purchasing the food (that’s right, we’ve actually been paying you to come eat our food). Unfortunately this means that we will be needing to increase prices. Our grill menu boards and pricing will be updated on Friday, April 8th. Although prices are changing, please know that we are committed to offering great food at a great price. The employee discount of 20% will also still be honored on all cafe-prepared items. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we undergo these needed changes.
