Team,
We have had one of the most busy January’s we have seen in all the years I can remember....... and it’s not over yet.
According to the wheel and my counting fingers.....it’s quarantine babies that we are seeing and we are hearing from providers that we will continue to see this influx of births for a while. We also currently have 17 couples signed up for our prenatal class this Saturday which is also an all time high enrollment number.
I just want to thank everyone for the GREAT TEAM work and special care you continue to give your patients.
As we do our rounding we are noticing what a great job you are doing at keeping pts needs met. It’s evidenced by how the rooms look when we enter. (Water mugs filled, food trays taken out and Discontinued IV medications are not hanging on the IV poles.) I can’t tell you how much your patients appreciate all the extra things you do for them to make them comfortable! We do try to leave notes and shout outs to those individuals they mention but it doesn’t do it justice as a whole. We truly are an incredible resource for our community.
Keep up the GREAT WORK! It does not go unnoticed!

My wife and I just had our second baby, a boy named Kingston at Mountain View last Tuesday. My wife had a C section which she did not experience with our first baby. We just wanted to say thank you to you and your nursing staff in Labor and Delivery for the excellent care and friendliness we received during our stay. From when we were admitted and the nurses that helped with the C Section preparation and process to the aftercare, everyone was very nice and caring.
One nurse in particular was extremely fantastic for us. Her name was Amy and she was our nurse during the night shift both nights we stayed. She is an excellent nurse and I thought she took great care of my wife throughout the nights, never being late on her pain meds and assisting with anything we needed right away. Amy is truly a great nurse.
I'm sure COVID has made your jobs more difficult than ever and we wanted you all to know that we appreciate everything you all do each day and night. You are excellent professionals and we are glad we chose Mountain View for our labor and delivery of our children.
Thank you again, your staff made our experience an excellent one.
