Notice of Application for Expansion Exception
In our ongoing effort to provide Idahoans with the best care possible, Mountain View Hospital, LLC has applied for an exception to the prohibition on expansion of facility capacity imposed by Section 6001(a)(3) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This section restricts physician-owned hospitals from expanding their capacity.
We want to enhance our ability to serve the community by expanding our services, which will allow us to further improve patient care in our region. We are committed to maintaining our high standards of care and giving people access to more services close to home. We are seeking an exemption because we believe an expansion will significantly improve the lives of our patients and benefit the community at large.
